Position: Section Head – Instrumentation

Designation: Assistant Manager - Manager

Function: Manufacturing – Electrical & Instrumentation

Place: Lanka, Assam

Credentials: Diploma / Graduate – Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering

Responsibilities:

•Lead the instrumentation section ensuring smooth, reliable, and safe operation of all instrumentation and control systems across plant sections for achieving optimum plant performance and energy efficiency

•Ensure continuous availability and accuracy of all field instruments, control systems (Siemens DCS/PLC), SCADA, analyzers, Pollution Control Equipment's, Automated weigh bridge, RFID System, weigh feeders, and automation systems.

•Vast knowledge in SIEMENS, YASKAWA MV Drive, LV Drive of ABB, Siemens, Danfoss

•Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all instrumentation assets

•Lead troubleshooting of instrumentation faults and implement permanent corrective actions.

•Maintain calibration records, loop drawings, and system documentation as per ISO and audit requirements

•Support new installations, plant modifications, and technology upgrades related to automation and instrumentation

•Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, and vendors for system integration and commissioning

•Collaborate with electrical, maintenance & process teams to optimize equipment performance through effective control logic and tuning

•Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and support in implementation of corrective measures

•Ensure all activities are conducted in strict adherence to company safety & environment related policies and procedures

•Lead, train, and develop the instrumentation team to enhance technical capabilities and ownership

•Knowledge in SAP Module, VRM & Roller Press Operation, SIMOCODE and its networking system.

•Should be a Certified Energy Manager
