Hospital Strength: 1010-bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital

Position Overview:

Subharti Hospital, Meerut is looking for a skilled and dedicated Consultant Urologist to join our Department of Urology. This role involves comprehensive management of urological disorders, performing advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures, and contributing to the growth of our clinical and academic services.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage a wide range of urological conditions including kidney stones, BPH, urinary tract infections, urological cancers, infertility, and erectile dysfunction.

Perform open and minimally invasive urological surgeries TURP, PCNL, URS, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, and reconstructive urological procedures.

Conduct diagnostic procedures — cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, urodynamic studies, and biopsies.

Provide inpatient and outpatient urology consultations, ensuring evidence-based and patient-centric care.

Coordinate with other specialists for multidisciplinary management of complex cases.

Guide post-operative management and follow-up care for patients.

Actively participate in academic activities, teaching of medical students, interns, and residents.

Engage in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain detailed patient records and adhere to hospital protocols for safety, consent, and infection control.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: MS/DNB (General Surgery) with M.Ch./DNB (Urology) from a recognized institution.

Experience: Relevant clinical experience in urological practice in a tertiary care hospital.

Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic and operative urological procedures, strong patient communication skills, and commitment to ethical medical practice.
