Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Specialist (Firewall & Switching) located in Pochampalli. In Tamil Nadu, the Network Specialist will manage and administer network infrastructure, including firewalls and switches. Daily tasks include troubleshooting network issues, designing network solutions, ensuring network security, and maintaining optimal network performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Network Administration and Networking
  • Must have extensive hands-on experience and advanced troubleshooting skills with Cisco switching and firewall platforms and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong practical knowledge of configuring, managing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN setups, VLANs, and network security protocols.
  • Certification Required: Should possess at least one of the following: CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, or PCNSC
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, DHCP, DNS), spanning tree, NAT, ACLs, and high-availability configurations.
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced diagnostics, incident response, and root-cause analysis for complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
