Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Pune for a Cyber Security Freelancer Trainer. The Cyber Security Trainer will be responsible for conducting training sessions, developing course materials, delivering hands-on labs, and providing mentorship to students. The trainer will also stay updated with industry trends and ensure that the training provided is relevant and up-to-date. Additionally, the role involves evaluating student performance and offering constructive feedback.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Application Security, Information Security, and Cybersecurity skills
  • Knowledge of Network Security and Malware Analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in developing and delivering course materials
  • Ability to mentor and guide students effectively
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and system alerts.

  • Implement and review security controls and best practices.

  • Support in developing and maintaining cyber security policies and documentation.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security.

  • Knowledge of firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.

  • Familiarity with ethical hacking, network security, and risk assessment.

  • Strong understanding of Windows/Linux systems and cloud platforms.

  • Certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, or SOC Analyst (L1/L2) preferred.
