The Institutional Dealer is responsible for executing and managing trading activities for institutional clients. This role involves analyzing market trends, executing trades, and providing strategic advice to optimize investment portfolios. The Institutional Dealer must maintain strong relationships with clients and financial institutions, ensuring that transactions are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute buy and sell orders for institutional clients across various asset classes including equities.
  2. Ensure all trades comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial markets, economic indicators, and investment trends to provide informed recommendations.
  4. Utilize market data and trading platforms to make strategic trading decisions.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, understanding their investment goals and preferences.
  6. Provide regular updates and reports on portfolio performance and market conditions.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies to meet clients' objectives.
  8. Analyze and evaluate portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary.
  9. Assess and manage risks associated with trading activities, ensuring adherence to risk management policies.
  10. Implement strategies to mitigate potential losses and capitalize on market opportunities.
  11. Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  12. Prepare and present detailed reports on trading performance and market analysis to clients and management.
  13. Work closely with other departments such as research, sales, and compliance to ensure cohesive execution of trading strategies.
  14. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of trading strategies and investment ideas.
