Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ignition SCADA Engineer between 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial automation and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Ignition by Inductive Automation, possess basic knowledge of Python and SQL, and have hands-on experience in PLC programming. This role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to data collection and analysis for Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.
  • Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs and other industrial devices.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python and queries using SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Collect, analyze, and visualize industrial data to support operational decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems and industrial networks.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SCADA engineering, preferably with Ignition SCADA.
  • Core or Gold Certification from Inductive Automation is highly preferred. Basic proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis for smart manufacturing or Industry 4.0 projects.
