Job Description - SAP Solution Architect / Techno Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

The SAP Solution Architect / Technical Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading the technical aspects of SAP projects. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to deliver robust SAP solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP architecture, integration, and project management.

Required Skills:

We need Solution Architect with broader skill in SAP SD and/or MM (mandatory), Logistics, ECC, S4/Hana, AMS, Implementation, public cloud etc. Person should be able to solution as well an architect when needed. Solutioning experience of SAP AMS, S4/Hana Implementation are must. ECC to H4/Hana conversion experience is preferred. Person should be able to manage bid management, solution architecture with responsibilities including planning, proposal writing & negotiations.

PP, MM, SD functional experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, Pharma industry profiles are preferred.

Experience managing end-to-end SAP projects, including S/4HANA greenfield implementations, AMS cloud migrations, etc coupled with functional expertise in MM, SD, PP, PM, QM. Good Communication, Project management skills

About 10-12 years experience in SAP minimum in a functional domain of SAP MM, SD, PP/QM

exposure to bid management, solution architecture with responsibilities including planning, proposal writing & negotiations.

• At least 10 12 years of experience in SAP solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Proven track record of leading SAP implementation projects.
• In-depth and expert knowledge of SAP SD, MM and Logistics modules, and its integration with other modules such as PP, and FICO.
• Excellent knowledge of S4HANA Private and Public environments
• Excellent understanding of new and emerging SAP technologies
• Experience with integrating SAP with other enterprise systems.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and lead technical teams effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and design comprehensive SAP solutions.
• Develop architecture blueprints, detailed technical specifications, and integration plans.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of SAP solutions.
• Lead and manage SAP implementation projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP modules.
• Ensure proper integration of SAP with other enterprise systems.
• Conduct technical assessments, code reviews, and system testing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Offer training and support to end-users and IT teams.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Master's degree in a related field.
• SAP certification in relevant modules or areas of expertise, preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the SAP ecosystem.

Preferred candidate profile

Looking for Architect/Solution Engineers who may have minimal experience in S4/Hana end to end implementation but good design skills in specific functional areas

1. 10-15 years' experience

2. Chennai and Pune ( both location)

3. Hands-On implementation experience

4. Business process mapping, gap analysis and gap solutioning

5. SAP Configuration

6. Customization requirement – Analysis, estimate design, develop (with tech resources help) and deploy

7. Configure and Demo for their functional areas

8. Strong communication

9. Project Management – Capable of owning small projects/CRs that may involve more their functional areas

10. AMS experience

i. taking end to end accountability for Tickets resolution – For a small team

ii. Change requests – end to end - Analysis, estimate design, develop and deploy

iii. RCA – Realtime RCA experience
