About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented GCP Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security services, with a strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage security controls within GCP environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Security, Firewalls, and Encryption.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor security events and respond to incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide recommendations for GCP architecture hardening and data protection.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Security.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM, VPC, Firewalls, KMS, Security Command Center.
  • Good understanding of network security, cloud compliance, and encryption.
  • Experience in implementing security policies, monitoring, and threat detection in GCP.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integration of security tools in CI/CD.

Good to Have

  • GCP Security certifications (Professional Cloud Security Engineer) good to have .
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Knowledge of container security (Kubernetes, GKE, Docker).
  • Experience in incident response and SIEM tools.
