Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for our software products. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and support teams to understand product functionality and translate technical concepts into user-friendly content.

Your work will directly help internal teams and end-users understand, implement, and use our software effectively, ensuring a seamless experience and reducing support dependency.

Job Description:

  • Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, installation guides, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather detailed information about features, functionalities, and workflows.
  • Convert complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to organizational style guides, standards, and templates.
  • Update documentation to reflect software updates, bug fixes, and new feature releases.
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to stay updated on product functionality and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience Required:

Must Have:

  • 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software, SaaS, or technology products.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, API documentation, and technical workflows.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, GitBook, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Markdown, or XML is a plus.
