Role Description

This is a full-time role for a React/Typescript Engineer. As part of the engineering team, the individual will be involved in building and maintaining web applications using React and Typescript. Day-to-day tasks include coding, debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle. This role is on-site and located in Bengaluru.

Front-End Development (with React and TypeScript)

  • Building User Interfaces:
    Designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and performant web applications using React components.
  • State Management:
    Utilizing state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or Zustand to manage application data effectively.
  • TypeScript Integration:
    Leveraging TypeScript to define prop types, component states, and data structures, ensuring type safety throughout the front-end.
  • API Integration:
    Consuming and interacting with back-end APIs to fetch and display data.
  • Testing:
    Writing unit and integration tests for React components.

Back-End Development (with TypeScript and various frameworks/technologies)

  • API Development:
    Building RESTful APIs or GraphQL APIs using with frameworks like , , or (for full-stack capabilities).
  • Database Interaction:
    Working with various databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or others, often using ORMs/ODMs.
  • Authentication and Authorization:
    Implementing secure user authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
  • Business Logic:
    Developing the core business logic and data processing functionalities of the application.
  • Server-Side Testing:
    Writing tests for back-end services and APIs.

Full Stack Capabilities

  • System Design and Architecture:
    Contributing to the design and architecture of full-stack applications, considering scalability, performance, and security.
  • Deployment and DevOps:
    Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Version Control:
    Proficient in using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for collaborative development.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
