We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who thrives at the intersection of language and vision, someone passionate about building intelligent systems that understand and interpret both text and images at scale.

Role Overview:As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in NLP and Computer Vision, you will play a pivotal role in the research, design, and deployment of advanced machine learning models. You will lead initiatives involving language model pretraining and finetuning, as well as vision model development across diverse business use cases. Key Responsibilities:Language Models & NLP:Design and implement strategies for pretraining and finetuning large language models (LLMs) such as LLaMA, or custom transformers.

Build NLP pipelines for tasks including text classification, information retrieval, summarization, entity recognition, and question answering. Optimize performance of LLMs for specific domain applications using techniques like transfer learning, LoRA, quantization, and distillation. Computer Vision:Lead development of vision models using CNNs, ViTs, or multimodal architectures for tasks such as object detection, image classification, segmentation, OCR, and visual search.

Integrate CV models with NLP systems for end-to-end intelligent applications (e.g., document understanding, visual question answering). Research & Innovation:Stay current with academic and industry advances in NLP, LLMs, and CV, and evaluate their relevance to business problems. Rapidly prototype solutions and contribute to research publications and patents where applicable.

Cross-functional Leadership:Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, ML engineers, and domain experts to define technical roadmaps and deliver production-ready solutions. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Required Qualifications:Master's or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.5 years of industry experience building ML systems, with significant exposure to NLP and Computer Vision.

Proven experience with transformers, LLMs, and vision architectures (e.g., ResNet, EfficientNet, Vision Transformers). Proficient in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers, OpenCV, and related tools. Experience with ML Ops tools (e.g., MLFlow, Docker, Airflow, Ray) and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Strong publication record or demonstrable contributions to open-source or real-world AI systems. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with multimodal learning, combining text, image, and possibly speech or structured data. Familiarity with self-supervised learning and contrastive learning approaches.

Background in search/retrieval systems, OCR post-processing, or document AI.Experience deploying models in low-latency, scalable environments. Why Join Us?
