Position Overview
CMS seeks a skilled ERPNext Developer to join our internal IT team to design, customize, and optimize ERPNext applications across various departments in collaboration with our other developers. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Project Lead to implement, maintain, and enhance ERPNext functionality for the school's large-scale operations.
Minimum Qualifications / Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in ERPNext /Frappe development (education domain experience preferred).
Frappe Developer Certification.
ERPNext Functional Certification is an advantage.
Proven experience in ERP implementations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Role & Responsibility
Develop and customize ERPNext modules as per institutional requirements.
Create and manage custom apps, DocTypes, workflows, scripts, server scripts, and print formats.
Integrate ERPNext with third-party systems (e.g., biometric devices, payment gateways, WhatsApp API, Power BI).
Handle ERPNext deployment, version upgrades, and data migration.
Collaborate with the ERPNext Project Lead and functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
Implement automation scripts and custom reports for enhanced decision-making.
Maintain documentation for all customizations and system configurations.
Work with the IT Executive (ERPNext) team for data cleaning, testing, and validation of master data.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
Ensure compliance with school IT policies and data protection regulations.
Technical Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Frappe Framework and ERPNext architecture.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Jinja, HTML, CSS.
Experience with MySQL/MariaDB databases.
Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and webhooks.
Familiarity with Git, hooks, fixtures, and version control systems.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodology, and project lifecycle.
