Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on WordPress Developer with experience in custom themes, plugins, and website optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and can work both independently and as part of a creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development: Build, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites across different industries.
  • Custom Design & Development: Create custom themes, templates, widgets, and plugins to meet client requirements.
  • Website Performance: Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Basic SEO Support: Implement fundamental on-page SEO practices (meta tags, headings, URL structure) in collaboration with the SEO team.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, design, or performance.
  • Collaboration & Updates: Work with design, content, and SEO teams, and stay updated with WordPress best practices and trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and custom development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with page builders like Elementor or Divi.
  • Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
