About the Role

Xylem Learning is seeking a dedicated and innovative Creative Visual Designer to enrich our high-impact content and marketing initiatives. This role is crucial for transforming educational concepts and promotional strategies into visually stunning, engaging materials. You will be a key player in elevating the learning experience and expanding our digital footprint across all platforms. The ideal candidate blends exceptional design acumen with a passion for educational technology.

Core Responsibilities

1. Educational & Digital Content Creation

2. Design and produce engaging visual assets for Xylem's proprietary educational content.

3. Develop high-quality, platform-optimized graphics for social media channels.

4. Marketing & Promotional Asset Development

5. Conceptualize and deliver compelling digital creatives for:

6. Targeted paid advertising campaigns.
7. Email marketing and newsletter templates.
8. Social media promotion across all major networks.
9. Website banners, landing page elements, and various digital display assets.

10. Produce high-quality print materials, including event collateral, posters, brochures, and flyers.

11. Cross-Functional Design Synergy

12. Collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts, Content Writers, and the Video Production team to ensure seamless and visually unified communication.

13. Ensure all visual elements are consistent, cohesive, and maintain a high standard of quality across every medium (web, mobile, print, video).

14. Expertly adapt and resize final artwork for multiple formats without compromising design integrity.

15. Brand Stewardship

16. Act as a guardian of the Xylem Learning brand, consistently applying and further developing our visual identity and design language.

17. Ensure every designed piece is not only visually attractive but also educationally effective and strictly compliant with brand guidelines.

18. Workflow and Delivery

19. Manage a dynamic workload, juggling multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting strict, fast-paced deadlines.

20. Maintain an organized system for file management, version control, and efficient handling of design revisions and final approvals.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Visual Communication, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on professional design experience, ideally within the EdTech, E-learning, or a performance-driven marketing environment.

Technical Expertise

• Essential Proficiency: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
• Advantageous Skills: Familiarity with modern design/prototyping tools like Figma is a significant plus.

Portfolio

• A strong, well-curated portfolio is mandatory, demonstrating a successful history in creating both educational visuals and high-converting promotional/marketing campaigns.

Soft Skills & Aptitude

• Creative Detail: A meticulous eye for visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating design choices and receiving feedback.
• Conceptual Translator: Proven ability to rapidly translate complex academic or abstract marketing concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives.
