Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by collaborating with stakeholders to validate business requirements and user needs.
  • Document and track defects, providing clear and actionable feedback to development teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • (Bonus) Support automation testing efforts as needed, assisting in the creation and execution of automated test scripts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing and UAT processes.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation testing tools (such as Selenium, QTP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
