Senior Salesforce Developer (Experience Cloud + Headless CMS Integration)

Location: Remote

Work Hours: 4 pm to 1 am IST

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with proven expertise in Experience Cloud and modern headless CMS integrations.

The ideal candidate will blend strong backend Salesforce development capabilities with solid UI and web development skills to deliver scalable, high-quality, and accessible digital experiences aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Product Managers, UX Designers, and Delivery Leads to translate complex business needs into scalable Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Design and develop backend components, custom integrations, and APIs connecting Salesforce with headless CMS platforms (preferably Sanity) and other external systems.
  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing Experience Cloud sites compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Implement site features including personalization, multilingual content, and SEO optimization.
  • Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, Bitbucket, or GitHub for automated and reliable deployments.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participate in peer reviews, and adhere to Salesforce best practices.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, Experience Cloud enhancements, and modern web technologies.

Must Haves

  • Comfortable working US overlap hours (till 12:00 PM Pacific Time).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with deep expertise in Experience (Community) Cloud.
  • Proven experience integrating headless CMS platforms — Sanity preferred (experience with Contentful, Adobe, or WordPress is a plus).
  • Strong backend development skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, SLDS, and Material Design.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset.
  • Proficient with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket), including branching, merging, and code promotion strategies.
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Bitbucket.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Developer II and JavaScript Developer I certifications preferred.
