  • Qualifiaction:- Any gradJob Summary:We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Purchase Head to lead and manage the procurement function of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining quality and compliance standards across all purchasing activities.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle including vendor selection, negotiation, purchase order management, and inventory control.
  • Lead and manage the purchasing team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value.
  • Monitor and analyse purchasing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials and services required by the company without compromising on quality or budget.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, production) to forecast demand and ensure alignment with procurement plans.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, environmental, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets, reports, and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and MS Office tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
