Requirements
We are seeking an experienced RSA Archer eGRC Developer / Technical Specialist to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) technology team.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining RSA Archer-based solutions to support enterprise risk, compliance, audit, and security processes.
As a key member of our GRC program, you will work closely with business and technology teams to translate complex governance and compliance requirements into scalable Archer workflows, integrations, and automation. You will ensure platform stability, optimize performance, and enhance the overall Archer ecosystem across the organization.
Solution Design & Development
Conduct requirements gathering sessions with new and existing RSA Archer user groups to understand business needs.
Design and develop workflow models, access roles, and applications within the Archer development environment.
Build and customize Archer applications using out-of-the-box functionalities, including application builder, record permissions, calculated fields, and data-driven events.
Develop complex calculation fields and implement business logic rules for automation and decision-making.
Manage questionnaire-based assessments, and create reports, dashboards, and charts for data visualization.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new workflows, enhancements, and application changes.
Deploy approved solutions and configurations into the production RSA Archer environment, ensuring adherence to change management standards.
Design, implement, and manage datafeed integrations between Archer and external systems such as MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, File Systems, and Non-Archer Tools.
Develop RSA Archer eGRC data integration feeds (to/from other enterprise systems) to support data flow and synchronization.
Validate data mapping, schema accuracy, and feed performance.
Create custom scripts or utilities to automate repetitive administrative or operational tasks, improving team productivity.
Maintain and monitor Archer GRC platform components, including server hardware, SQL databases, Windows services, and Archer software layers.
Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls in compliance with enterprise security policies.
Provide third-level troubleshooting support for security applications and Archer-related incidents.
Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams for upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.
Prepare and share regular project status reports, timelines, and progress updates.
Work cross-functionally with risk, audit, compliance, and IT teams to ensure solutions align with organizational governance goals.
Maintain technical documentation for all applications, integrations, workflows, and platform configurations.
Identify improvement opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance platform usability.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
4–8 years of experience in RSA Archer development, administration, or configuration.
Solid understanding of GRC frameworks and risk/compliance management processes.
Experience building and customizing RSA Archer applications, including workflows, reports, dashboards, and questionnaires.
Proficiency in datafeed integrations with databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DB2) and external tools.
Knowledge of User Access Roles, Groups, Field Types, and Application Permissions in Archer.
Familiarity with Windows Server, SQL Database, and RSA Archer platform maintenance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Hands-on experience with RSA Archer APIs, JavaScript, PowerShell, or VBScript for automation and custom utilities.
Understanding of JSON/XML data formats and integration scripting.
RSA Archer Certified Administrator or RSA Archer Certified Professional certification preferred.
Exposure to risk, audit, policy, and incident management modules within Archer.
Experience with Agile methodology and iterative development practices.
