Position Requirements

The right person for this position should have 5+ years of experience in Electronics Systems Design. He / She should be passionate, tech savvy, academically sound, have interest in electronics devices and technologies that drive the headless domain.

He / She should be able to understand Pentair product domain and develop products using industry best practices. He / She is required to be hands-on with embedded low-level driver and application development to monitor, control and manage the embedded devices.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead projects for a segments end-to-end electronics delivery.

  • Define design/architecture for the electronics products.

  • Hardware development & troubleshooting.

  • Ensure process compliance, best practices and leveraging AI in simplifying them.

  • Mentor project team members.

  • Manage product challenges due to external factors such as market or supply chain.

  • Collaborate with Business Unit, Cross functional and Delivery Teams to achieve Project goals for electronics.

Knowledge:

  1. Exposure to Microcontroller/Microprocessor Family e.g. STM32xx, ESP32xx, PIC32xx, Raspberry PI, iMX series.
  2. Knowledge of Microcontroller peripherals e.g. ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS485, Ethernet.
  3. Knowledge of RF protocols and certification for WIFI, Zigbee, Bluetooth/BLE, IoT Cellular technologies.
  4. Knowledge of different types of analog & digital circuit design using op-Amp and transistor and MOSFETs based.
  5. Good Knowledge for sensors- temp, pressure, vibration, water quality and their selection/qualification/verification process.
  6. Have write requirement document, hardware design document, test plans, FMEA documentation.
  7. Knowledge of product -Hardware development Life cycle.

Experience / Skills:

  1. Develop and qualified smart product using with single/ multiple controller-based design.
  2. Hands on experience for Sensors, Controllers -STM32xx, PIC32xx & ESP32xx and IOT Connectivity technology.
  3. Schematic and PCB Layout using Altium Designer/ OrCAD.
  4. Circuit simulation using latest tools.
  5. Experience in reviewing Layout and creating manufacturing package including Gerber, Steps file and Assembly BOM for production/CM House.
  6. Hands on experience in EMI/EMC testing and resolutions.
  7. VAVE & new technologies POC.
  8. Lead System Troubleshooting with cross functional team.
  9. Hardware and Software integration testing and trouble shooting.
  10. Maintain, support & troubleshoot products already in production.

Qualifications and Experience:

M.Tech/B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from a good Engineering College.
