Role & responsibilities
- Review timesheets, work charts, wage computations, and other information to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Process paperwork for new hires and enter employee information into the payroll system.
- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto
designated records.
- Compute wages and deductions and enter data into the payroll system.
- Track leave time, including vacation, personal, and sick leave for employees. Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
- Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from various records and issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors.
- Evaluate the gate in/out log to enter man-hours and create Excel spreadsheets to track man-hours and overtime.
- Act as a liaison for all human resource activities between the time office and the processing plant.
- Responsible for receiving inventory and maintaining accurate logs. Prepare routing documents for internal and external shipping and receiving.
- Collaborate with senior management on month-end reports and provide administrative support as needed.
