POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for accounting of Invoices, reporting and document management.

Principal Activities

  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial documents, and ensuring organized and accurate reporting
  • Receive and park Direct, Indirect & Service Provider Invoices with 3 way and 2-way match
  • Weekly review of pending Invoices and liaison with Stores for timely receipt of Invoices
  • Good understanding of TDS regulations including E TDS returns data
  • Run and distribute reports as required
  • Support all financial audit requests related to internal and external audits of Accounts Payable-related
  • Processing of Import payments through manual mode wherever necessary with all relevant documents
  • Support for month-end closing activities
  • Support for month-end billing activities, reconciliation
  • Support GST return filing activities
  • Working with the team on all accounting activities
  • Working experience in Inventory control, costing and analysis
  • Analyze operational costs and suggest efficiencies, like streamlining processes.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of accounts process, functions and procedures.
  • Excellent Knowledge on MIS Reporting backed up with advance Excel skill sets.
  • Working experience in an ERP environment.
  • Experience in Inventory control, costing and financial reporting
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance.

  • Experience:
    2 to 5 years relevant experience in accounts in product/manufacturing.
