Head Cashier

The Head Cashier is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the billing and cash counter in a textile retail store. This role ensures smooth customer transactions, maintains accurate cash handling procedures, supervises cashier staff, and provides excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash transactions and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain cash float, monitor cash drawers and oversee end-of-day cash reconciliation.
• Handle refunds, returns,exchanges, and resolve payment-related issues.
• Prepare daily cash reports and coordinate with accounts/finance department.
• Lead and supervise cashier team members.
• Address customer queries and resolve complaints related to billing or pricing.
• Ensure fast, smooth and efficient checkouts experience for customers.

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as Cashier, Senior Cashier or Head Cashier.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, responsibility and integrity.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
