Position Purpose

The Supervisor will be responsible for establishing daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicating them to employees. Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules. Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity. Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

Strategic Responsibilities

• To manage plant operation as per SOPs.
• Maintain operation as per ISO standards.
• Maintain systems, guidelines, procedures and formats as per need.
• Must be well-versed with safety practices related to chemical handling and high-temperature systems
• Ensure compliance with environmental norms and pollution control regulations

Operational Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) system field/PLC, as per SOPs
• Record and maintain daily log sheets and operating parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates, TDS, etc.)
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of concentrates and distillates
• Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting activities
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental compliance standards
• Report abnormalities or deviations in operation immediately to the supervisor

• Ensure smooth working of the shift to achieve high productivity and safety level
• Encourage supervisors/operators to participate in suggestion scheme

Education Qualification

B.Sc. Chemistry or Environment and Diploma Chemical

Work Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operating and maintaining MEE systems
• Knowledge of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems is an added advantage

Industry to be Hired from

Agro-Fine-Chemicals/API

Functional Competencies

• Familiarity with vacuum systems, steam systems, and condensate recovery
• Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA
• Experience in MEE operations including start up, shutdown, and cleaning cycles
