Educational Qualifications
Preferred: B.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field
Key Skills & Knowledge
Basic Chemistry Knowledge – pH, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, etc.
Sampling Techniques – Collection of influents, effluent, and treated water samples.
Lab Equipment Handling – pH meter, spectrophotometer, DO meter, turbidity meter, etc.
Standard Testing Methods – APHA, BIS, CPCB, or SPCB protocols.
Documentation – Maintain test logs, daily reports, calibration logs, etc.
Basic Computer Skills – MS Excel / Word for report generation.
Typical Responsibilities
Collect and test samples of incoming and treated effluents.
Maintain and calibrate lab instruments.
Record and report test results daily to ETP Officer/Manager.
Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms.
Assist in audits, inspections, and documentation preparation.
Safe handling of chemicals and follow lab safety protocols.
Other Requirements
Experience: 1–3years (Freshers with strong knowledge may be accepted)
Work Environment: Industrial/ETP / WTP/STP setting (should be comfortable with field visits)
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
