Organization Our client has built an innovative e-commerce platform aiming to revolutionize the way people shop online, for a new category of products. The platform aims to provide a seamless and personalized shopping experience, offering a wide range of high-quality products curated to meet the diverse needs of the customers. The platform is ready to be launched. The other founders are serial entrepreneurs who have built successful business from scratch and are from some of the premier institutes in the country. They are looking for a CEO for this start-up, since they are currently engaged with other organisations.
Role The client is seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join us as a Co-Founder and CEO. The ideal candidate will be a driven leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, strategic mindset, and a proven track record of success. As a co-founder, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the company and driving growth.
Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the company, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve our goals and objectives.
  2. Business Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that drives growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  3. Team Building: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  4. Product Development: Oversee the development of our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  5. Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach, continuously improving the shopping experience to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. Financial Management: Manage the company's finances effectively, optimizing revenue streams, controlling costs, and ensuring financial sustainability.
  7. Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances that drive business growth and enhance our competitive position.
  8. Brand Building: Develop and execute marketing and branding strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
  9. Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, continuously seeking new opportunities and solutions to stay ahead of the competition.
  10. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, upholding the highest standards of ethics and governance.

Candidate:
  • Age and experience does not matter. You could be in the early 20s or the late 40s.
  • Bachelor's degree from a premier institute; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership and success in building and scaling businesses, preferably in the e-commerce industry or any product industry (IT). Those who have corporate experience and are now looking for a suitable opportunity as an entrepreneur are also welcome.
  • Prefer those who have the experience of building businesses as a founder or head of sales and marketing
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively, take calculated risks, and drive innovation.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to achieve their full potential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships.
  • Results-driven with a track record of delivering tangible business results and achieving targets.
  • High ethical standards with a commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in all business dealings.

Location : Anywhere in India. The operations can commence from any city
Salary : This position offers equity compensation and does not include a salary at the initial stage.
