Job Summary:
The Vice President - Human Resources is a key member of the universitys executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and driving the institutions human capital strategy. The role entails overseeing talent acquisition, organizational development, compliance, employee engagement, faculty management, and administrative workforce planningensuring alignment with the university's academic mission and long-term vision.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 15–20 years of HR experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior HR leadership role in academia or large organizations.
- Deep understanding of university systems, Indian education regulations, and higher education HR frameworks.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies such as UGC, AICTE, NAAC, and state/central education departments.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Visionary leadership with ability to manage a diverse, multi-campus academic ecosystem.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS/ERP platforms and data-driven decision-making.
- Integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle complex organizational dynamics.
