Job Responsibilities:

Qualification: A Chartered Accountant with around 5 years (post qualification) of proven work experience in a similar industry role, demonstrating a strong foundational understanding of direct taxation.

  1. Handling & managing the taxation compliances/litigations/activities of Searce's India region;

  2. Handling of filing of Income Tax Returns for corporate, annual compliances, Issuance of Certificates as may be required under Tax Laws;

  3. Manage tax outflow, estimation, forecasting of taxes & optimization of Tax.

  4. Manage litigations, notices, assessments, drafting of appeals and submissions to be filed before various tax authorities including CIT (A), Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT);

  5. Appearing and representing Searce before Tax Authorities, Liaisoning with various authorities includes Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP), Commissioner of Income tax (Appeals) [CIT(A)] and Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) etc;

  6. Managing inter company transactions among Searce entities from TP standpoint,  Analysis of various Transfer Pricing issues, preparation of TP report, 3CEB, Master File and other documentation;

  7. Advising clients on various Cross Border Transactions and providing efficient tax structures for overseas operations;

  8. Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals, like restructuring etc;

  9. Extensive research on Domestic tax, International tax, FEMA, Companies Act and other Regulatory laws;

  10. Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
