JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Hepatologist

Qualification: MBBS, MD (Medicine / Paediatrics), DM (Hepatology / Gastroenterology)

Core Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage liver-related disorders (acute, chronic, viral, autoimmune, metabolic)

Pre- and post-operative care for liver transplant patients

Oversee interventional hepatology procedures (biopsies, variceal banding, TIPS)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for liver failure and transplant management

Ensure adherence to national and international hepatology and gastroenterology guidelines

Participate in teaching, research, and development of hepatology protocols

Experience: Fresher 15+ years (depending on hospital requirements)
