Job Title: ITGC Senior Auditor

Summary:

The ITGC SOX Senior Associate is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and documentation of IT General Controls (ITGC) testing for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. This role involves collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure effective controls are in place and operating as designed.

Responsibilities:

o Assist in the planning and execution of ITGC testing, including access controls, change management, computer operations, and SDLC.

o Perform walkthroughs and testing of ITGCs to assess their design and operating effectiveness.

o Document testing procedures, results, and conclusions in accordance with company and audit standards.

o Identify and evaluate control deficiencies and recommend remediation actions.

o Assist in the identification and assessment of IT risks related to financial reporting.

o Evaluate the impact of IT changes on SOX compliance.

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of ITGCs, testing procedures, and results.

o Prepare reports on testing results and control deficiencies.

o Assist in the development and maintenance of ITGC policies and procedures.

o Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure effective controls are implemented.

o Communicate with internal and external auditors regarding ITGC testing and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Education:

o Bachelor's degree in information systems

• Experience:

o 8+ years of experience in IT audit, ITGC testing, or SOX compliance.

o Experience with ITGC frameworks and methodologies.

• Skills:

o Strong understanding of ITGCs and SOX compliance requirements.

o Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Good to have Alteryx Knowledge

• Certifications (Preferred):

o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
