Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all plant operations to meet performance targets (production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety).
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Manage plant budgets and control costs.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Coordinate with supply chain, quality, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead and develop plant staff through effective recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain effective communication with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage capital expenditures and improvement projects at the plant level.
