Role & responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact for all regulatory matters related to mining leases / plant, environmental clearances, forest clearance, land acquisition, and other statutory approvals.
  • Liaise with government departments such as MoEFCC, DGMS, IBM, State Pollution Control Boards, Forest Department, Revenue Department, District Administration, IDCO etc.
  • Ensure timely renewal of leases, licenses, NOCs, and consents required for uninterrupted operations.
  • Coordinate with legal and land teams for smooth land acquisition and compensation disbursement.
  • Maintain strong relations with local authorities, landowners, and village-level representatives to resolve disputes or issues.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key government officials and local influencers.
  • Address local community concerns, engage with local stake holders and ensure local support for projects/Mines.
  • Coordinate with legal teams for representation in legal forums or to handle disputes.
  • Keep management updated on the status of various permits and developments in the regulatory landscape.
