Job Title: Jewelry Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Transactions:
• Operate the cash register to process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle payments in various forms, including cash, credit cards, and checks.
• Provide accurate receipts and change to customers.
• Verify customer information for payment processing when necessary.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their queries regarding products, prices, or store policies.
• Offer additional services such as warranty information, repairs, and promotions.
• Assist in packaging jewelry for customers and ensure the proper care instructions are provided.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay informed about the jewelry products offered, including materials, styles, and current promotions.
• Help customers choose jewelry based on their preferences and needs.
• Handling Customer Complaints:
• Address customer complaints or issues regarding their transactions professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Daily Cash Handling:
• Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Prepare cash deposits and follow store procedures for cash management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or cashiering, jewelry setting.
• Candidate should have experience in MMI software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for handling money and making change.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
• Knowledge of jewelry types, materials, and industry trends is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Typically works in a jewelry store
• May require standing for long periods and working with fine jewelry items.
• Shifts may include weekends and holidays, depending on store hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
