Role Description

This is a full-time
on-site role
for a
Backend Developer
, located in
Chandigarh, India
. The Backend Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining the core systems that power Clan Saga's gaming ecosystem. The role involves designing scalable server-side applications, managing APIs, integrating secure payment and reward systems, and ensuring smooth data flow between frontend and backend. You will collaborate closely with the product and frontend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Daily Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining robust backend services and APIs for Clan Saga's platform.
  • Ensuring secure and efficient handling of user data, clan activities, leaderboards, and rewards.
  • Integrating with third-party services, including authentication, payments, and blockchain/web3 tools.
  • Writing clean, reusable, and scalable code with proper documentation.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing backend performance.
  • Collaborating with frontend and product teams to implement new features.
  • Managing databases, ensuring stability, efficiency, and security.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a
    Backend Developer
    or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of
    server-side languages
    , Python, or Java).
  • Experience with
    databases
    (SQL/NoSQL) and designing scalable data models.
  • Understanding of
    RESTful APIs
    and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with
    authentication, authorization, and security best practices
    .
  • Experience with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of
    web3/blockchain integration
    is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work
