Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with Tally, and be eager to learn and grow in an accounting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance (as applicable)
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
- Assist senior accountants during audits and month-end closing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting
- Practical knowledge of Tally (Tally ERP / Tally Prime)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of GST and basic taxation
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Good communication skills
