Engineer

Production Engineer- Acoustics  · Must be from Polyester fiber board printing, Thermo-wadding industry etc.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Planning and Scheduling:
•    Develop Acoustic panel processing production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
•    Coordinate with various departments (such as Non-woven production, procurement, engineering, and logistics) to ensure timely availability of specified wadding materials and other resources required for further processing. Quality Control:
•    Establish and enforce quality control standards of Acoustic products to ensure meet specified process criteria, color match, finish, printing and customer expectations/quality
•    Implement quality assurance processes, including inspections and testing, to identify and address any deviations or defects related to PET board / wadding finishing and printing. Process Improvement:
•    Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in Acoustic process and other value added services/customizations with product
•    Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies to reduce waste and enhance productivity. Resource Management:
•    Manage and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize production output from setup.
•    Monitor and analyze resource utilization to make informed decisions on resource allocation and workforce planning. Team Leadership:
•    Supervise and lead production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
•    Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team morale and productivity. Health and Safety Compliance:
•    Ensure that production activities adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
•    Implement safety protocols and guidelines to mitigate workplace hazards and risks. Communication:
•    Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and engineering, to align production with overall business goals.
•    Provide regular updates on production progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management. Inventory Management:
•    Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses and maintain a balanced stock.
•    Coordinate with inventory control teams to ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely replenishment of materials. Budget Management:
•    Participate in budget planning and cost estimation activities for production operations.
•    Monitor expenses and make cost-effective decisions to stay within budgetary constraints. Problem Solving:
•    Address production-related issues in a timely manner, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.   REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:   Skills: · Hands on experience in Polyester fiber soft / hard board panels processing / printing / Transfer printing / Digital printing / Fabric printing & relevant processes · Handled mass production on imported Digital CNC cutting machines. · Strong communication, presentation and people management skills · Multi-Tasking and Problem-solving skills · Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision · Ability to work under pressure · Excellent organizational, planning and administrative abilities · High level of Computer proficiency · Auditing skills & Analytical approach Qualification and Experience: · Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering / Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment. · Proven experience (5-10 years) and Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management, · Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. · Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and implement process improvements. · Proficiency in using production management software and tools. · Strong communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders. · Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. · Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards. · Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Location · Local or should be ready to relocate near Factory / Umbergaon / Vapi    Remuneration would be in line with the education, knowledge & experience
