Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Preparation of procurement Specification, Bid evaluation, participation in Tender discussion, Contract finalization.

  2. Cost estimation for Instrumentation & Automation equipment / system

  3. Preparation of drawings and documents: P&I diagrams, Control philosophy, Automation configuration, Assignment drawings and Layout of Control room / heat load calculation, UPS sizing and SLD, Instrument list and data sheets, I/O list, Loop diagrams, instrument location and installation (hook-up) drawings, electronic earthing scheme, Cable & JB schedule and interconnection, Cable / tray routing

  4. Vendor drawings review

  5. Participation in FAT, Assistance in Commissioning

  6. Co-ordination with Customer/End user, OEMs, Technology suppliers, Contractors and Site team.

Skills & Competencies –

  1. Experience in System design and Detail engineering of Instrumentation and PLC / DCS based Automation system.
