Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Senior (6–8 years)

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, OSCP) are highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cryptography & Threat Modeling:
  • Design and implement secure systems using encryption standards such as AES, RSA, and ECC.
  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Protocol & Firmware Security:
  • Perform reverse engineering of communication protocols and firmware binaries.
  • Secure embedded systems and firmware against known and emerging threats.
  • Secure Communication:
  • Implement and validate secure communication for CPS systems, including CAN bus and UAV telemetry.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality across networked embedded platforms.
  • Best practise on security implementation on system design
  • Familiar in mobile device level security structure
  • Hardware Security:
  • Analyze and mitigate risks related to JTAG/UART interfaces, side-channel attacks, and physical tampering.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to embed security at the design level.
  • Network & System Monitoring:
  • Use tools like Wireshark, Snort, and custom scripts for network traffic analysis and intrusion detection.
  • Monitor system logs and alerts for suspicious activity.
  • Documentation & Collaboration:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security architecture, test procedures, and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with software, hardware, and compliance teams to ensure end-to-end security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on embedded systems and hardware security.
  • Strong knowledge of decryption, decoding, encryption standards, and secure protocol design.
  • Hands-on experience with SDR tools, network security tools, and reverse engineering.
  • Familiarity with secure CPS communication, firmware analysis, and hardware-level security.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
  • Intermediate level skills on python or C++
  • Hands on experience in shell scripts and OS level programming

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with secure boot, TPM, and hardware root-of-trust.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO
  • Contributions to security research or open-source security tools.
