Role & responsibilities

  1. Data Management

  2. Maintain and update databases and data systems.

  3. Clean, validate, and organize data from various sources.

  4. Ensure data integrity and accuracy.

  5. Report Generation

  6. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.

  7. Create dashboards and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, or other tools.

  8. Generate customized reports as per departmental needs.

  9. Data Analysis

  10. Analyze trends and patterns in data to support business decisions.

  11. Interpret data to identify issues, opportunities, and improvements.

  12. Provide actionable insights based on data findings.

  13. Technical Support

  14. Handle user issues related to MIS tools and software.

  15. Coordinate with the IT department for troubleshooting technical problems.

  16. Ensure smooth functioning of MIS software and tools.

  17. Automation & Process Improvement

  18. Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel macros, VBA, or scripts.

  19. Improve reporting efficiency and data handling processes.

  20. Streamline data collection and report generation workflows.

  21. Documentation & Compliance

  22. Maintain proper documentation for reports and data processes.

  23. Ensure data handling complies with company policies and regulations.

  24. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  25. Collaborate with different departments (HR, sales, finance, etc.) to collect and validate data.

  26. Understand business requirements and tailor reports accordingly.

  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros)
  • SQL (Structured Query Language)
  • Power BI / Tableau
  • ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
