Job Description – Assistant Professor (ISE)

Department: Information Science & Engineering (ISE)

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Information Science / Computer Science / Related Field (Completed or Pursuing)
  • OR
  • M.Tech / M.E in Information Science / Computer Science

OR

  • B.Tech / B.E in ISE / CSE / ECE

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant teaching or industry experienceKey Responsibilities:

  • Teach core subjects of Information Science & Engineering as per the university syllabus.

  • Conduct lectures, lab sessions, tutorials, and remedial classes.
  • Prepare lesson plans, lab manuals, study materials, and question papers.
  • Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and project reviews.
  • Guide students in internships, mini-projects, and final-year projects.
  • Participate in academic committees, department meetings, and faculty development programs.
  • Engage in research, publish papers, and support accreditation activities (NAAC/NBA).
  • Maintain student attendance, academic records, and documentation.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of teaching or relevant industry experience in Information Science / Computer Science.
