We are looking for a dynamic journalist who can manage both news research and anchoring for our educational news channels (Medical & Engineering News). The candidate should have a passion for journalism, strong research and communication skills, and the ability to present news confidently on camera.

You will be responsible for finding daily news, preparing scripts, fact-checking, and anchoring recorded/broadcasted news content for YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Content Development

  • Track daily updates from reliable sources (newspapers, official websites, press releases, portals.
  • Research, verify, and fact-check all news stories before publication.
  • Write concise, accurate, and engaging news scripts.
  • Suggest story ideas and ensure timely coverage of all relevant updates.

Anchoring & Presentation

  • Present news on-camera for YouTube and social media in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintain proper body language, voice modulation, and screen presence.
  • Work with teleprompter/ scripts during recordings.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of both short-format (Reels) and long-format (YouTube) news.

Collaboration & Production

  • Work closely with the videographer/editor team for smooth recordings.
  • Suggest improvements for visuals, graphics, and content flow.

  • Stay updated with trending styles of digital journalism for Instagram & YouTube growth.

  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.

  • Skills Required:
  • Strong research and writing skills (news accuracy is crucial).
  • Excellent spoken Hindi & English (clear communication).
  • Confident on-camera anchoring & presentation.
  • Knowledge of educational news (Medical & Engineering) is a plus.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and multitask.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
