About the role

As a Senior Product Security Engineer at slice, you'll contribute technically to advance the Cyber Security program at slice and help the company in making the application and the infrastructure secure as per the industry standards. You will anticipate and identify risks and share any issues with senior members of the team. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who has exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact proactively with employees and leadership at all levels. The person in this role will need to be highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Perform comprehensive security assessments for Android/iOS mobile applications, web applications, and backend APIs using modern tools and techniques.
• Conduct penetration testing, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research leveraging tools like MobSF, Frida, Burp Suite, Ghidra, and Objection.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities aligned with industry standards such as OWASP Mobile and Web Top 10.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to build secure features and integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for continuous security validation.
• Research and defend against emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and implement runtime protection mechanisms.
• Engage in triaging and resolving issues from bug bounty programs and security audits.

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in mobile and web application security, with a strong expertise in
  mobile security
  .
• Strong hands-on experience with tools like Frida, MobSF, Burp Suite, JADX, Ghidra, and Hopper.
• Experience with reverse engineering and code obfuscation analysis to identify and mitigate advanced threats.
• Deep understanding of mobile platform security (Android/iOS), web technologies (React, , etc.), and API security.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript.
• Solid grasp of authentication and authorization protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, certificate pinning.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, IAST, and integrating security in CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts and API gateway security is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
