Position Purpose

Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team's goal.

Reftiers is a legacy application developped with a Spring and Primefaces in Java 7. Reftiers is a third-party referential tool used by Finance.

Within Next Years We Have Several Main Projects

• Migration of the application in Java 21
• Cloud migration to DMZR (BNPP private cloud). A multiyear program was initiated in 2023 to accelerate modernization, securitization through DMZR Cloud migration, and obsolescence management. Yearly Roadmap is splitted in waves of 6 months composed by 6 selected applications. The program involves Security teams, Architects, Development teams, Production Teams, and BP2I (At Group level)
• Regulatory evolution: electronic invoicing

Job Summary

• Design, develop and maintain business applications and/or technical components without or within Cloud DMZR environment (Cloud DMZR is the internal private Cloud of the Groupe BNP Paribas based on IBM public Cloud / Kubernetes)
• Perform unit & integration test
• Deploy new application releases in the qualification environment
• Provide level 3 expertise/assistance to support APS team
• Comply with BNPP Paribas security policy
• Document: technical and functional specifications, support/ incident resolution procedures...

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

• Design Software architecture leveraging Cloud technologies (PaaS or IaaS, Kubernetes, etc.) using Group toolchain
• Design and develop components/applications on technologies with various tech frameworks (different technological stacks on Java)
• Work in an agile environment
• Participate in agile rituals in an organization on the way to be "agile at scale",
• Interact and contribute with our developer's communities, ISPL & Real Estate IT teams and more broadly of the IT sector within BNPP Paribas worldwide

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Intermediate experience in Java 21, Spring Boot, Spring Framework.
• Entry level experience in Spring Cloud, Docker 23, CI CD Pipelines, Gitlab, Kubernetes
• Intermediate experience in Spring Batch 5.1, Angular 18, Thymeleaf, JSON/REST and Junit 5.

Business And/or Technical Skills

• Expert in java (back end front-end/fullstack development experience), Spring stacks, and Cloud technologies (Containerization, Toolchain, etc.)
• Significative experience with DevOps technologies (CI/CD, GitLab and/or GitHub, etc.)
• Knowledge in SQL (MSSQL)
• Ability to document systematically
• Ability to analyze and estimate the cost in man-days
