Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting functional, backend, API, and UI testing for web and desktop applications. Your role will also involve performing manual API testing, validating system responses, and working on the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including test planning, execution, bug tracking, and reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to ensure product quality, troubleshoot defects, and work closely with developers for resolution. Your role will require you to write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, work in an agile environment, and stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct functional, backend, API, and UI testing for web and desktop applications. - Perform manual API testing and validate system responses. - Work on the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, execution, bug tracking, and reporting. - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or JIRA. - Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to ensure product quality. - Troubleshoot defects, document findings, and work closely with developers for resolution. - Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing. - Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
