We are seeking talented Communication Trainer to join our creative team in Mumbai. The roles and responsibilities of a
Communication Trainer
are centered on assessing, developing, and improving the communication skills of individuals or groups within an organization, often focusing on areas like professional speaking, writing, presentation skills, and interpersonal interactions.

Training & Development

This is the core function, focusing on the design and delivery of learning programs.

  • Needs Assessment:
    Conduct thorough analysis (through surveys, interviews, or observations) to identify specific communication skill gaps and deficiencies within the target audience (e.g., customer service, sales, leadership).
  • Curriculum Design:
    Develop, customize, and update engaging training materials, modules, and exercises focused on areas such as
    verbal communication
    ,
    written communication
    (email etiquette, report writing),
    presentation skills
    , and
    active listening
    .
  • Training Delivery:
    Facilitate and lead workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions using various instructional techniques, including lectures, role-playing, simulations, and group activities.
  • Skill Practice & Feedback:
    Provide
    constructive and specific feedback
    to participants on their performance during training exercises, helping them recognize and correct communication errors.

Coaching & Consulting

This involves applying communication expertise to real-world business challenges.

  • Individual Coaching:
    Provide personalized coaching to high-potential employees or those struggling in specific areas, such as handling difficult conversations, negotiating, or presenting to senior executives.
  • Interpersonal Dynamics:
    Train teams on improving cross-functional communication, conflict resolution techniques, and building rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • Cultural Sensitivity:
    Train employees on effective communication in diverse or international settings, focusing on cultural nuances and cross-cultural competence.
  • Stakeholder Consultation:
    Work with department heads and HR to integrate communication goals into overall business objectives and performance management plans.

Evaluation & Improvement

This ensures the training programs are effective and providing a return on investment (ROI).

  • Performance Measurement:
    Develop and use assessment tools (e.g., pre/post-tests, observation checklists, surveys) to measure the effectiveness of training programs and participants' skill improvement.
  • ROI Reporting:
    Report on training outcomes, demonstrating the link between improved communication skills and business results (e.g., higher customer satisfaction scores, faster sales cycle, better internal collaboration).
  • Program Refinement:
    Based on evaluation data, continuously review and update training content and methodologies to ensure they remain relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices and organizational needs.
  • Resource Management:
    Manage training schedules, logistics, and necessary resources, including technology and training aids.
