Role Description

This is a contract role for a Shopify / WordPress Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing websites using Shopify and WordPress. This includes performing routine site maintenance, ensuring site functionality and performance, optimizing websites for speed and SEO, and troubleshooting any site issues. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create and update web content, aligning with business needs and user experience best practices. This is an on-site role based in Gwalior.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify development, including theme customization and app integration
  • Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development
  • Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Knowledge of web standards and best practices for SEO and performance optimization
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first web development
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
