National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body responsible for implementing Indias flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and

implementation of National Digital Health Mission to create a National Digital Health Eco-system. National Health Authority is the successor of the National Health Agency, which was functioning as a registered society since 23rd May, 2018.NHA is governed by a Governing Board chaired by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare.

Role & responsibilities

  • Provide domain specific technical support to SHAs as and when required
  • Responsible for development/updating of policy document Review of modification and quality guidelines
  • Development and implementation of NABH plus and NABH excellence
  • Conducting training workshops on Quality Certification & empanelment of Hospitals
  • Support the IT division in development on HEM for regular monitoring and outliers
  • Responsible for ensuring AB PM-JAY Quality Certification in empaneled hospitals through SHAs
  • Working on HEM 2.0 content designing and linkage of HEM 2.0 and HFR content linkage
  • Working with innovation team on development for alignment of startup on various challenges faced in empanelment and Quality.
  • Responsible for coordinating quality audits, hospitals audits and support the Monitoring & Evaluation Division with fraud control measures etc.
  • Undertake any other assignment /responsibility given by NHA

Preferred candidate profile

Medical graduate + MBA /MHA/PGHHM or MPH,M.sc, Masters in health policy, Health financing, Health economics or equivalent with minimum 8 years of work experience
