Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or metalworking, with leadership or supervisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick), metal cutting, and assembly techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication plans.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices in metal fabrication.

• High school, diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate fabrication staff, including welders, fitters, and assemblers.

• Schedule and assign work to ensure timely completion of projects.

• Ensure all fabrication processes meet quality standards and engineering specifications.

• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work and ensure accuracy.

• Maintain, monitor, and coordinate maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools.

• Train and mentor employees in proper techniques, safety procedures, and shop best practices.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

• Monitor inventory of materials, tools, and supplies; coordinate ordering as needed.

• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to optimize workflow.

• Prepare reports on production progress, workforce performance, and equipment status.
