Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Liferay DXP 7.4.

Upgrade existing modules, hooks, and extensions to Liferay 7.4.

Customize out-of-the-box (OOB) portlets such as Documents & Media, Journal Article, Users & Orgs, Knowledge Base.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and implement customizations and extensions on the Liferay platform.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability.

Integrate Liferay DXP with other enterprise systems and applications.

Work in Agile/DevOps environments ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on expertise in Liferay 7.4 portal development.

Experience in end-to-end Liferay portal implementation.

Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks.

Proficiency in Liferay extension environments (plugins, wrappers, core EXT).

Deep understanding of Liferay CMS, structures, templates, and permission framework.

Experience in building and consuming REST, SOAP, JSON, XML web services.

Strong knowledge of SQL queries and databases (SQL Server preferred).

Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with ability to work in client-facing environments.

Flexible to work with AMS stakeholders across time zones.
