We are looking for a Junior Cab Designer to support the design and drafting of electrical and mechanical cabinets, enclosures, and related assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering drawings, 2D/3D CAD software, and a keen eye for accuracy and detail. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about industrial design and want to grow their technical skills in a professional engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of cabinets, enclosures, and panels based on project requirements.
  • Assist in creating fabrication and assembly drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
  • Work closely with electrical and mechanical design teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards.
  • Update and revise drawings as per client feedback or engineering changes.
  • Maintain accurate drawing documentation and revision control.
  • Support the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) for cab assemblies.
  • Ensure all designs meet safety, ergonomics, and manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.
