Job Description:Professional experience -
  • Relevant professional experience of at least 3-8 years.
  • Exposure in Utility Scale project Design & Engineering
Technical Knowledge -
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Strong Experience in PVSyst, Sketchup software, AutoCAD skills, Knowledge of calculations like cable sizing, earthing, UPS sizing, battery sizing etc., well versed in IS and IEC standards.
  • Should have worked on at least 30MWp project single location.
Responsibilites -
  • Excellent grip for site analysis, feasibility study and power evacuation system analysis of Utility Scale Solar Projects.
  • To carryout solar resource assessment, Generation estimation, Shadow analysis, Plant layout designing, pitch analysis, PV system analysis.
  • To do sizing and make specifications for DC Designing, string sizing, Inverter selection, cable sizing, fuse selection, earthing system design, designing of cable route, cable trench & equipment layout, AC Design, transformer design, Bay design, CT/PT selection, VCB selection, designing of Plant Protection system.
  • Ensure compliance of IEC, BIS and IS standards for solar system and conduct Site and factory acceptance testing.
  • Review & generate the equipment specifications, GA, BOQ, estimates, design & manufacturing drawings.
  • Track and update master list of drawings for timely completion of deliverables.
  • Interact with customer /consultants for any queries, presentations, clarifications & approval of designs.
  • Attend & participate in customer/ consultant/ designer meetings whenever required.
  • Coordinate with internal functions like Business Development, Land & Liaisoning, Projects, and Procurement etc. for all technical specifications & queries, BoQ, drawings, etc.
  • Understand, verify & regularize technical deviations/ design change request as raised by contractors / vendors/ consultants throughout & beyond the production/project phases.
  • Coordinate with procurement/ supply chain for vendor selection/ evaluations.
  • Lead interaction with design partners & ensure effective response & contribution from them.
  • Knowledge of 11 KV/ 33 KV/ 66 KV/132 KV/220 KV Sub Station & selection of components will be added advantage
